Dr. Steven Kahn founded Math Corps over 33 years ago on a radical idea: that every child, regardless of background, is capable of doing mathematics — and that the key to unlocking that potential is being genuinely loved and believed in. What began as a single program in Detroit has grown into a national movement spanning ten cities.

Laura leads Math Corps’ fundraising and external partnerships, working to build the financial foundation that allows the program to grow. She brings a passion for mission-driven organizations and a deep belief in the power of community investment to create lasting change for students.
LaTrice manages Math Corps’ financial operations, ensuring the organization’s resources are stewarded with care and transparency. Her work is the backbone that keeps programs running smoothly across every city Math Corps calls home.
Paige works behind the scenes to support Math Corps’ programs across the country, connecting local sites with the resources, tools, and guidance they need to run exceptional summer camps and Saturday programs.
Mobashira drives Math Corps’ growth into new cities and communities, building the partnerships and infrastructure needed to bring the Math Corps model to more students. She is passionate about expanding access to high-quality math education for underserved youth.
